Starview Event Servers

Starview Event Servers enable you to build, test and deploy specialized event-processing application systems for your business. They are Java-based application servers that have been specifically designed for complex event processing in a high-performance environment. The servers are lightweight and modular, for ease of deployment, scalability and reusability.

Starview’s event-driven platform allows you to respond in real time to fast-moving events of any kind. With a built-in Complex Event Processing (CEP) engine, the Starview Event Server can accept data feeds from a variety of sources, producing actionable events.

Starview Event Servers take event-driven systems to a new level. Starview provides the industry-unique Analytical Event Processing (AEP) engine, enabling richer and more sophisticated analysis across multiple streams of data. The AEP is based on “actors” – event-processing agents that listen for events, and analyze based on the entire working environment.

Actors take action according to predetermined rules, in the context of the other actors. AEP engines express extremely complex, sophisticated algorithms that go far beyond SQL-based languages. Starview Servers provide real-time event processing, action management, and automated problem resolution.
