Starview Technology Presents at 5th Event Processing Symposium in Trento, Italy
San Jose, CA —September 21, 2009 - Starview Technology, Inc., a leading provider of event-driven application platform solutions, today announced that several of the Company's key technologists have been invited to participate in the 5th Event Processing Symposium, one of the most important conferences on event processing.
Mack Mackenzie, CTO, and Dr. Francis McCabe, Architect, will participate in several panels: Event-Driven Business Process Management, and IT Event Processing Management. . In addition, Dr. McCabe will present a talk entitled “The Use of Speech Act Theories in Event Processing”. The inclusion of Starview technologists in this prestigious event marks widespread acknowledgement of the Company’s leadership position in the event-processing arena.
This international event gathers most of the major academic and industrial players in the event-processing world, and is organized under the auspices of the Event Processing Technical Society (EPTS). Held in Trento Italy from September 21-23, at the University of Trento in northern Italy, the event features keynote talks from industry and academic luminaries and will include in-depth discussions of use cases and event processing as a key technology in smarter planet applications.
