Thomas has more than 20 years of experience in managing all aspects of fast-growing high technology companies. From 1999 to 2002, Thomas was VP of Operations and Business Development for AvantCom Networks. Prior to AvantCom Networks, he spent 12 years in executive roles at Semitool [SMTL], including Corporate VP of Sales and Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Support Operations for Europe, APAC, and Americas. He holds an Engineering degree from the Technical State College for Communication and Electrical Engineering in Salzburg, Austria. |

Gwen Durrill
EVP and General Manager
Gwen has more than 20 years of global product leadership experience. Prior to joining Starview, Gwen was the Unit Exec of WebLogic Time and Event Driven Products. Gwen had overall responsibility for product development, go-to-market strategy, delivery and revenue generation for a family of products developed for RealTime and Event Driven applications. Before BEA, Gwen was Vice President, Business Development and Marketing for Orsus Solutions. In that role, she developed the strategic alliance and partnership strategy to grow channel opportunities in the internet, portal and mobile applications markets. Gwen has held various senior executive roles in business development, marketing, and engineering at IBM, Portal, and Amdahl. Gwen has a BS in Math and Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara. |

K. R. Mack Mackenzie
Chief Technology Officer
Mack is responsible for driving Starview's next-generation technology. He has more than 23 years of engineering and software development experience in creating paradigm-altering software systems. Prior to joining Starview, he headed software development for SureCircle, a developer of self-provisioning online administration systems. Mack also served as Director of Server Engineering for Certive, a business analytics company where he was responsible for designing and leading implementation of the analytics engine. Previous positions included head of development for iBizWare, an early developer of application servers. and cofounder of Performance Digital Labs and Dynamic Mindworks inc. He has also worked as a software engineer for a number of companies including Fujitsu, Macromedia and Honeywell, working on problems in the space of expert systems, authoring systems and real-time multimedia. |

Angus Macdonald
EVP, global Sales and business development
Angus MacDonald’s 20 year background combines a strong track record in growing software companies with deep insight into the technical and business challenges faced by global enterprises. Angus joined Starview Technology after having founded Mathon Systems along with John Mathon, the technical founder and CTO of TIBCO Software. Prior to Mathon Systems, Angus played a number of executive roles including CEO of Snapbridge Software (now Mochila) in San Diego, and Vice President of TIBCO Software where for eight years he ran elements of Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Customer Advocacy. Angus received his Ph.D. in Microelectronics from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He also holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh. |

STEVE BAUNaCH

Steve was a co-founder of Starview Technology and is responsible for the design and delivery of high-value domain-specific solutions. He is instrumental in working with customers and prospects to translate their challenges into product requirements. Prior to Starview, Steve served as VP of Engineering and CTO of BlackHog, an ASP-based inter-enterprise direct material procurement management system. Before that, he was VP of Product Development and CTO of Sherpa Corporation, seeing it through its acquisition by Inso Corporation and subsequent sale to SDRC. Steve has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University. |

Tanya Candia
VP Marketing
Tanya has more than 25 years of experience in high tech marketing, with strong hands-on experience in leading high-growth business and product strategies. Her expertise spans technology and segment marketing, strategic marketing, branding, marketing communications, advertising and public relations efforts for global and start-up companies including F-Secure, Amdahl, IBM, Sigaba, AIDA/Teradyne and others. She holds a BA in linguistics from U.C. Davis, an MA in intercultural communications from the Monterey Institue of International Studies and an MS in systems management from the University of Southern California, and is the published author of three books on strategic marketing.
