We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Executive.
The VP of Professional Services is responsible for driving the day-to-day activities of Starview’s Pre- and Post-Sales Organization. This organization includes Pre-Sales Engineering, Solution Engineering, and Customer Support. The Vice President of Professional Services must excel in execution and customer satisfaction. A high degree of efficiency is expected.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and manage a professional service organization
- Work with all organizations of the company to create and support a very satisfied customer base
- Plan, and deploy efficiently, resources in the field to deliver installations in a timely manner
- Support the Sales team to drive license revenue
- Generate revenue from Proofs of Concept and Pilot Implementations
- Generate revenue from support and maintenance contracts
- Work with Marketing and Engineering to provide customer feedback on features and product enhancements
- Be influential to the overall product strategy and direction
- Implement and maintain post-sales procedures and infrastructure
- Establish metrics to monitor and measure customer satisfaction
- Visit customers and prospective customers as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have managed a Customer Support and Professional Service organization. Must have strong personal program management experience. Prior experience with enterprise middleware and platform products (e.g. Weblogic, Websphere, Tibco).
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
BS in Computer Science. 15-20 years in relevant positions with software companies. Prior experience in managing P&L is a plus.
